When asked through which party and constituency she would contest, “All the three parties have accorded me a warm welcome but I'm yet to decide which one to be a part of. It is very early to speak about it, but will start campaigning soon", Namitha said.
About her cinema career, Namitha says, “As of now, I'm not doing too many films as I want to concentrate on my political career. Gone are the days when I went on doing any movie with any subject and character. It's high time now, I want to be more selective about my scripts," she added.
“Tamil Nadu people have given me so much love and adoration. I want to give them something in return”, Namitha signs off.
